What is POWER 9®?

Formerly knows as Amino Pro®. In 2022, the company relaunched the same formula under a different name POWER 9® replacing the name Amino Pro®.

What is Amino Pro®?
Amino Pro® is a dietary protein supplement that contains a unique blend of 9 amino acids we believe to be critical for good health in a highly purified, free, crystalline form.

Does Amino Pro® comply with Health Canada labeling regulations?

Yes, Amino Pro® complies with Health Canada’s labeling regulations. Amino Pro® is also approved for use and sale in Canada with it’s own license and NPN (Natural Health Products Number).

Where do you source your amino acids from, are they animal or vegetable source?

Amino acids cannot be classified as either animal or vegetable. They are, simply, natural compounds created mostly through a bacteriological fermentation process. The two other processes often use either enzymatic reactions and extraction methods, usually with some form of protein feedstock.

Is Amino Pro® a natural product?

Yes, Amino Pro® is a 100% natural product.

What is the recommended use of Amino Pro®?

Amino Pro® is recommended as a Workout supplement, Athletic support, Source of essential amino acids for the maintenance of good health, Source of essential amino acids involved in muscle protein synthesis, Assists in the building of lean muscle [tissue & mass] when combined with regular [weight & resistance] training and a healthy balanced diet, Source of branched chain amino acids (BCAAs), which are involved in protein synthesis, Source of amino acids involved in muscle protein synthesis.

Why did you choose these nine amino acids and leave out many of the so called Essential Amino Acids from the Amino Pro® formula?

We like BCAA’s for the muscle building and recovery properties but regular use of BCAA's deplete your dopamine and the desire or will to do things. We address that through the addition of an appropriate amount of Taurine.

We purposely left out amino acids like cysteine, tryptophan, methionine, and histidine as these are common in the diet and can negatively impact performance.

We believe Cysteine, histidine, methionine, and tryptophan in abundance act as precursors to substances that promote stress, inflammation, and poor metabolism.

We also chose to add beta alanine specifically because it will combine with histidine and form carnosine, which is not only beneficial but it further lowers the amount of histidine available to manufacture things like histamine. Beta alanine is an atypical antihistamine and has no known side effects.

Atypical antihistamines have been found to reverse liver fibrosis and have strong inhibiting effect on collagen production and cell division as well. This suggests they may be very helpful for prevention (and maybe even treatment) of cancer.

Why does taking a high dose of beta alanine powder result in a tingling sensation?

The medical name for this sensation is paresthesia, also commonly referred to as “pins and needles”. It is what you experience when one of your extremities “falls asleep”.

Some users experience this type of paresthesia when they take an excessive amount of beta alanine in a single dose. This is normally associated with single doses of more than 800 mg.

The tingling caused by beta alanine is harmless and passes quickly; normally within an hour and a half or so. Symptoms abate as plasma levels of beta alanine decrease.

Some users report enjoying the paresthesia sensation as they feel it is a sign that the supplement is actively functioning in their bodies. To avoid tingling from beta alanine, use a smaller dosage.

Note: A little less than 10% or 50mg of each capsule of Amino Pro™ is Beta Alanine.

What is your shipping policy?

Supplements can be shipped anywhere in the world including to all 50 states within the United States as well as oversees APO / FPO military addresses.

If you’re trying to estimate when a package will be delivered, please note the following:

Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing.
Canada Post, Federal Express and UPS deliveries occur Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Shipping rates will be based upon delivery distance and weight of package being shipped.
Final shipping costs will be stated before completion of checkout.

SHIPPING CONFIRMATION EMAILS

We will send you a shipping confirmation email to the email address provide at the time the order was place when all or part of your order is shipped. You will be sent a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number for every shipment.
